Observership Program
Clinical ExposureThe Lokman Hekim University Observership Training Program is specifically designed for international medical graduates and students to gain experience within Lokman Hekim Hospitals by observing the delivery of care. The program is not intended to address gaps in clinical knowledge or training; rather, it aims to familiarize and acculturate candidates with the practice of medicine in the hospital clinical setting.
Program Structure and Available Rotations
SpecialtiesWe currently offer rotations in internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, radiology, urology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. If you are interested in other specialties, the university may evaluate alternative requests based on availability and academic suitability.

Within 10 working days, you will be informed via email whether your application is approved, requires additional documents, or is not eligible.
If your application is initially approved, you will receive a Conditional Acceptance Letter. This letter will include the deposit amount that must be paid within 14 days.
Once the deposit payment has been completed, a Final Acceptance Letter will be issued, officially confirming your enrollment in the program.

Ankara Esenboğa Airport is the international airport of Ankara, the capital of Türkiye. It is located 28 km northeast of the city center. There are direct flights to Ankara from many destinations, and connecting flights are also widely available via Istanbul Airport (IGA) and Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
Airport Service
Havaş / BelkoHavaş Shuttle and Belko Shuttle services are available for all flights arriving at Esenboğa Airport. A one-way shuttle ticket to the city center costs approximately 180 TL (4 Euro).
The shuttle operates between Esenboğa Airport and the AŞTİ Bus Terminal in Ankara. At the bus terminal, the shuttle stop is located at platforms 129 and 130.
