The Faculty of Health Sciences at Lokman Hekim University was established in the 2018–2019 academic year together with the foundation of the university and has been successfully carrying out its academic activities since then. The faculty aims to educate competent healthcare professionals who are scientifically minded, ethically responsible, and equipped with strong practical skills to meet the needs of society.

With its seven academic departments, the faculty offers a multidisciplinary academic environment, delivering education through an integrated approach that combines theoretical knowledge with practical training.

Education at the Faculty of Health Sciences is supported by laboratory work, simulation-based training, and clinical internships in addition to classroom-based theoretical courses. Students begin benefiting from practical training and internship opportunities from their first year, in line with their curricula, at hospitals affiliated with the Lokman Hekim Health Group.

The Vital Simulation Center, located within the faculty, enables students to experience clinical environments and real-case scenarios in a safe and controlled setting. This allows students to develop their professional skills before direct patient interaction begins.

  • The Faculty of Health Sciences has a modern infrastructure designed to support hands-on education:

    • Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Laboratory:
      Equipped with advanced technology for practical training and research.
    • Audiology Laboratory:
      Fully equipped for theoretical and practical education, diagnosis, and treatment applications, and actively used for patient services.
    • Speech and Language Therapy Practice Center:
      A specialized facility that provides students with opportunities to work directly with clients and gain hands-on therapy experience.
  • In addition to theoretical and practical education, students have the opportunity to:

    • Complete compulsory and elective internships at two university hospitals,
    • Gain professional experience in real clinical settings.

    This structure ensures that graduates enter professional life with confidence and strong practical competence.

In addition to undergraduate education, the faculty offers graduate programs in related fields. Graduates can benefit from postgraduate education opportunities under advantageous conditions.

The faculty also provides double major and minor opportunities between certain departments, including:

The Faculty of Health Sciences at Lokman Hekim University was established in the 2018–2019 academic year alongside the university and has been actively continuing its academic and educational activities since then. The faculty currently consists of six departments: Nutrition and Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Audiology. In line with their curricula, students begin to benefit from extensive internship and practical training opportunities at hospitals affiliated with the Lokman Hekim Health Group from their first year of study.
